BurJuman Mall calls upon all parents of creative rising stars aged 4 to 16 years to register their children to showcase their talents across singing, dancing, and others as the mall presents them a stage with their very own spotlight. Registrations are open until the 10th of March 2022. To register your little ones, download the form from the below link, fill it and send it to risingstars@burjuman.com with a short 2-3 minute audition video of your superstars. For those who receive a call-back, auditions will be held on 4th, 5th, 6th, 11th, 12th & 13th March 2022. Semi-finalists will go on to compete for a place in the Finals on 19th & 20th March, with finalists giving it their all to win the title of BurJuman Mall’s Rising Stars. In addition, 1st place will be awarded AED 7,500, 2nd place with AED 5000 and 3rd place with AED 3000 worth BurJuman Mall gift vouchers.

REGISTRATION TERMS & CONDITIONS:

  1. Registrations for BurJuman’s Rising Stars will be from 23rd February until 10th March 2022.
  2. Participants should be between 4-16 years of age.
  3. To register, fill out the application form and submit the same along with the participants’ passport copy and a short video showcasing their talent. Please ensure that your child mentions his/her name at the start of the video to avoid any confusion with the application. The registration form along with the video should be submitted to the information counter on Level S1 or sent via email on risingstars@burjuman.com
  4. There is only one entry per person. If you enter with a group, you may not enter as an individual. All members of the group must be within the mentioned age group.
  5. Contestants can only participate in any one category – Singing/Dancing/Others. The “Others” category would include talents such as playing musical instruments, mathematics, illusionist, painting/drawing, theatre/drama performances and so forth.
  6. Initial screening of all submitted registrations will be done internally. The selected participants will be invited for the auditions on stage. If you are not contacted by our team, please understand that your child has not been selected for the further rounds.
  7. Registrations will be accepted until 10pm on Thursday 10th March 2022.

EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  1. Audition Dates: 4th, 5th 6th, 11th, 12th & 13th March 2022 (5pm – 9pm)
  2. Semi Final: 18th & 19th March 2022 (5pm – 9pm)
  3. Grand Finale: 26th March 2022 (5pm – 9pm)
  4. The auditions, semifinal and grand finale will be held in the main atrium of the mall on Level S1.
  5. The duration of each individual performance should be a maximum of 3 minutes.
  6. Participants will be chosen by an independent panel of judges. The judges’ decision will be final. For all other aspects, BurJuman Management’s decisions will be final and binding.
  7. There will be 3 winners selected in total who will win gift vouchers from BurJuman.
  8. For any groups that will participate, there will be only one representative’s name mentioned on the Gift Vouchers. The prize should be shared between all participants of the group.
  9. Parents/Guardians of children that are selected to perform at the BurJuman’s Rising Stars event will be responsible for all expenses incurred relating to the competition including transportation, meals, costumes, makeup and so forth.
  10. Parents/Guardians of children that are selected to perform at the BurJuman’s Rising Stars event will be responsible for all the materials needed for the competition including music (on USB), props, instruments etc. All acts, costumes, and props MUST be appropriate for all audiences.
  11. It will be parents/guardian’s responsibility to take care of their kids during the Show and BurJuman will not be responsible for any loss of personal belongings.
  12. BurJuman Management reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, and entrants must agree to abide by the most recent version that is published on BurJuman website.
